To attend Russian Camp MN, this contract must be read and agreed to by both the camper and their parent/guardian. The camper will sign the contract during an orientation meeting at camp.
Since Russian Camp MN will be my home during the camp session, I promise to make it a safe and enjoyable place for myself and others. Therefore, I agree to follow these rules:
- I will conduct myself properly and use only appropriate language.
- I will listen to others, including staff and campers.
- I will treat others with kindness and will not make threats or act abusively.
- I will respect the property, camp equipment, environment, and other campers’ personal items.
- I will follow the camp’s schedule and rules.
- I will not bring any snacks or drinks other than water to camp. Any snacks or prohibited drinks brought to camp will be confiscated and disposed of.
- I will not bring or use any smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, computers, radios, or televisions. Any such device will be confiscated for the duration of camp, and a $60 fine will apply. We are UNPLUGGED.
Discipline Policy:
Russian Camp MN operates on a three strike policy. A staff member may give a strike for any violation of the above Behavior Expectations Contract. After a second strike is given, the camp staff will contact my parent/guardian. If a third strike is given, I will be sent home. My parent/guardian will be required to pick me up that day.
Russian Camp MN has zero tolerance for bullying, and for the possession or use of weapons, alcohol, tobacco, marijuana (including edibles, vapes, oils, or any form of cannabis), illegal substances, or any behavior that endangers others or myself. Violating this policy will result in immediate expulsion from camp. If I intentionally damage camp property, my parent/guardian will be financially responsible for the cost of repair or replacement.
I acknowledge that I have reviewed this Behavior Expectations Contract and agree to follow these rules. I understand that if I am sent home, no refund will be given.
Parent/Guardian Conduct:
Russian Camp MN is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and professional environment for all campers, staff, and families. Disrespectful, hostile, or disruptive behavior by parents or guardians—including but not limited to yelling, threatening, using abusive language, or interfering with camp operations or staff—will not be tolerated. Such behavior may result in dismissal of the camper from the program without refund and/or the restriction of the parent/guardian’s access to camp property or personnel.
Parents and guardians acknowledge and agree to support the camp’s food policy. I understand that campers may not bring snacks or drinks other than water to camp, and that any prohibited food or beverages brought to camp will be confiscated and disposed of. I agree to reinforce this policy with my child and to respect staff enforcement of this rule.
