In summer 2018 we dedicated our session to the “Adventures of Buratino” / “Приключения Буратино”, based on the Russian classic story by A.N. Tolstoy. All the teams were competing for the Golden Key / Золотой ключик and every day were earning the gold coins through the activities adapted to fit this story.

The main characters of the book made their appearances daily either leading morning exercises, classes and hosting evening shows, where children staged the chapters of the book, shared their own poems with Pierrot / Пьеро and had a lesson of good manners with Malvina / Мальвина.

“Страшный бой на опушке леса”, aka water balloon fight between the teams was a big hit. And “В харчевне трех пескарей” teams competed eating watermelon without using hands.

“Пациент скорее жив, чем мертв?” Our campers got to learn how to bring Buratino back to life in the First Aid class.
