This past Friday Russian Camp MN participated as a sponsor providing the facility to host the picnic for the Russian-speaking community in Minnesota organized by the Russian Speaking Minnesota non-profit. Here is what one of the organizers Dovile Nazarevych shared: ” Our group represents a remarkable diversity of nationalities who speaks Russian as a second language. Our latest summer picnic organized by the Russian Speaking Minnesota was a huge success, bringing together 250+ people to share knowledge across various fields, engage in productive discussions, and foster valuable networking opportunities. Afterward, everyone enjoyed a delicious serving of Uzbek plov. Unity is indeed a powerful force!” For the camp it was the last day of our day-camp session, closing summer season of 2024. We successfully ran 4 sessions this summer: 2 overnight week long sessions that welcomed over 150 kids each and 2 day-camp sessions averaging 50 kids per session.
