Featured extract: What makes Игра. Unplugged different from other summer camps?
For starters, Russian! Both counselors and campers alike speak only in Russian in order to help the campers learn the language. But, as Tamara says, the counselors don’t just want the kids to practice using their Russian, they want them to have fun and be entertained in the process. To that end, every session of the camp, day or overnight, has its own theme, and all camp activities are designed to be connected to said theme. Previous themes include Buratino, Harry Potter, and Outer Space.
